In
response to the terrorist attacks in New York City and Washington on Tuesday,
September 11, Tom Jackson and several fellow musicians held a benefit
concert and an inter-denominational vigil for the victims and their
families on Wednesday, September 12 at Calgary's Jubilee Auditorium.
The public was made aware of the show only three hours or so ahead
of time; nonetheless over $60,000 was raised! Proceeds from the event
went to the Canadian Red Cross to aid in U.S. relief efforts. September
