This page simply explains the origins of this site, and includes the usual disclaimers. I initially became aware of Tom Jackson only after finally checking out the outstanding Canadian TV drama North of 60 - three years after it had already ceased production.  I had decided to check out the show after reading that it was filmed in the town of Bragg Creek, Alberta - because I had lived in Bragg Creek for a brief three months back in 1985, and had never heard anything about the town since that time.

After watching just a couple of episodes, I was so impressed and instantly hooked.  I began searching the internet for information on the careers of the terrific actors and writers, etc who created the show.

During the course of my internet research, I discovered that there was so much more to Tom Jackson's career than this TV show.  After bombarding the members of the North of 60 discussion list with related websites that I'd found, I decided I should just create my own page of links which others could check out if they were interested.  My original page of 'Tom-related links' debuted on the internet on February 7, 2000.  This site simply evolved from that page, after numerous requests from my website visitors for further information. 

This site is an informal resource for anyone looking for more information about Tom's career and projects.  However, I strive for accuracy if not completeness, so please feel free to point out any glaring errors to me.  It does not contain any information of a personal or private nature regarding Tom.
